These are an excellent trough design. They are very strong yet much lighter than concrete making them easy to relocate.

The Polyethylene trough is UV stabilized and will not mould, making it very easy to clean.

Are these troughs set up for low pressure or high pressure water?

Both Low Pressure (e.g. Gravity Fed) and high PRessure (e.g. pump fed) water supplies will work with these troughs. In fact our careful set up of the floats means that no matter how the water is delivered to the trough you can be assured of a no leak, no fuss water supply for your livestock.
Are they suitable for aquaponics or aquaculture?

Yes, as our troughs are made from high quality food grade LLDPE you can be rest assured that there is nothing toxic that could enter your food.
We have many clients who have used these tanks to establish aquaponics and aquaculture systems, and have tasted some great successes.
What else can I use a water trough for?

We have many inventive clients out there, and have seen the range of water troughs here used as everything from aquaponics and aquaculture grow beds though to athletes ice baths and even as kids swimming pools.
Will the last when they are left out in the paddock under the beating sun?

Yes all our products are ultra violet stabilised, and warranted for 15 years
Can I order a trough in a different size to what is listed?

All of our troughs are made using industry leading moulds which does limit the number of sizes we can manufacture them in. As such unless you have your own custom mould, we can’t make them in different sizes.
